Course Fees

530 EUR  

Course fees cover the following:

  • two-week lecture programme 
  • all course readings 
  • readings and Q&A sessions with Madeleine Thien and Catherine Mavrikakis
  • opening reception
  • train ride from Vienna to Innsbruck on July 30, 2022
  • bus round trip Innsbruck-Obergurgl to visit the Obergurgl Research Center of the University of Innsbruck on August 3, 2022 (including two meals) 
  • city tours in Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck
  • coffee breaks
  • excursion to the Nordkette and farewell dinner on August 5, 2022

Students are encouraged to apply for funding from their regional Canadian Studies associations. 

Students of the universities of Vienna and Innsbruck may apply for tuition waivers from their institutions. For further information, please take a look at the list of available scholarships and contact the organizers. 

Additional Expenses

Course fees do not cover the journeys to Vienna and from Innsbruck. Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements for their arrival in Vienna and departure from Innsbruck.

Accommodation is also not included in the course fees. Consulting the accommodation options in Vienna and Innsbruck on the ESSCS website might be helpful in the process of finding a place to stay.
