Course by Prof. David Staines

Professor of English, literary critic, writer, and editor Prof. David Staines (University of Ottawa) will hold a short-term teaching visit during the summer term of 2016 at the department of English and American Studies, University of Vienna.
He will teach a literature course entitled "The Diversity of Canadian Fiction" which will take place as a 2-week blocked course from May 9-23, 2016.
In this class, students will learn about some of the most famous Canadian authors and their works, such as Alice Munro, Rohinton Mistry, Thomas King, Margaret Atwood, and Michael Ondaatje.
